TLC opened its door on April 1, 1989. We were located on New Brunswick Ave in Fords, NJ. Trying to find a way to help my clients and be more personal, I decided to go mobile in 1994. It definately was the right move. Not only do I get to spend time with the client, I get to know the client. Not like a shop where you just drop off or pick up your dog.. there is a friendship that builds. Through the years, TLC has grown tremendously. In 2004 by husband, Bob, joined me after spending years driving around with me, helping me. Many of you met my oldest grand-daughter Alexa, over the past few years, she loves dogs and always loved helping me bath the dogs. You might see her with her dad,Scott,( my son in law) who has decided to join us also! Many of you have spoken with my daughters Melody and Janice when scheduling appointments. Keeping TLC Groomers as a family owned/operating business has always been a dream of mine. From day one, I knew thats the only way to go. In this day, you don't hear about family owned businesses, and I am very proud that my family stuck by me, joined me and helped grow TLC into a small ,caring business, where we know your name and your pets name.. (usually your pets name first) We treat you and your pet the way we would like to be treated, with compassion, care, and lots of TLC!
